2014: Batman, Revenge and more

Batman Arkham KnightFebruary 16, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA –  Everything started in March when I had the privilege to join the orchestration team led by Grammy® nominee composer and orchestrator Tim Davies. The first project I worked on was the video game Batman: Arkham Knight, with music by David Buckley and Nick Arundel. I entered the project when it was in its last phase, to help proofread and sketch a couple of cues. I also helped with some minor editing and proofreading of scores for some orchestral arrangements Tim did for the Hip-Hop artist NAS. The same week, I worked on a cue for Tom Cruise’s Edge Of Tomorrow.

In June, Tim Davies was working with composer and two-time Oscar® winner Gustavo Santaolalla on the score of the FOX animated movie The Book Of Life, starring Diego Luna, Zoe Saldana, Channing Tatum, produced by Guillermo Del Toro and directed by Jorge Gutierrez. I worked for the lead orchestrator Jeremy Levy, proofreading all the orchestral scores. One of the best moments during the project was joining the music team at the premiere in Downtown Los Angeles!

For the last couple of months, Tim has been orchestrating the primetime television series Revenge (ABC) with music by Fil Eisler. For one of the episodes, I had the honor of orchestrating part of the music and joining the recording session held at the historic Newman Scoring Stage at FOX Studios.revenge
